Default Program To Delete

I highly recommend anyone who has the map program to immediately delete it. My account was hacked today. I lost lots of valuable stuff. I already reported it. The only thing I have recently downloaded is that map program.

Why report it when they tell you or "inform you" that Downloading any additional software such as said program could lead to the very outcome you expressed.. the only thing i could see them doing is giving you a big "I told you so."

Well, excuse me for trying to help out other people on the forum who may have also downloaded it. I'll try to be less useful and helpful in the future.

Dont use programs and probably have no interest, but just out of curiosity, what was this map program supposed to help with?

No offense, and my reply wasn't intended as a personal attack, but when you're at the log-in screen.. if you wait a second .. some notes appear. Messages that inform you of different things.. one of the first ones was the msg that warned ppl that dl'ing map hacks or calculators or anything else third party to add to the game can be risky. They flat out say it.

It's like the woman who sued McDonald's b/c she spilled her HOT coffee on her at the drive-thru.

She won, and then McDonald's started posting HOT on all of their coffee cups.

Anet has already posted the warning.

Ooooook, you clearly don't understand the POINT. Other people posted in the old thread about this program. I am letting THEM know about the POSSIBLITY of it being a keylogger. It is unlikely, since I got it a couple weeks ago, and a friend of mine wasn't hacked. Read the original post, instead of "hey let's flame some random thread, this looks like a good one." Thanks for all the ignorant comments.

A picture of a map would be okay but a "Program" comes w/ consequences. Anet liberally (well once each) uses the terms "likely" and "often" in the annoucement.

Hi everyone,

Again, please heed ANet's warning and do not download strange programs.. including this "map program." That's all you really need to know, yes?
